This scholarship provides financial assistance to minority students pursuing higher education. Students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Economically Backward Class (EBC) and minority communities are eligible for the scholarships under this scheme.

2 million The purpose of the program is to provide scholarships to deserving students from economically disadvantaged groups in minority communities in order to provide them with better access to higher education, improve their performance in higher education and improve their employability.

Candidates must have postgraduate training. Candidates must be from ethnic minority communities. Annual income of applicant's parents/guardians (from all sources) should be less than or equal to Rs 2 lakh. Candidates are not eligible for any other government scholarship.
